J+M+J Friends, Happy Ember Days to all of you. We had a beautiful Pentecost Mass this past Sunday. Some of the young folks stuck around for music and a little line dancing and waltzing in the hall at the end of the potluck. They even broke out the limbo stick and had a limbo competition at the end. On the topic of potlucks, Most Holy Trinity will be having their annual parish picnic this coming Sunday, June 4th Trinity Sunday, starting at 12:30 at Living History Park. Even if you normally attend Mass somewhere else, if you have been coming to the TLM at MHT, you are part of the MHT extended family, so please consider coming to the picnic. It will be a lot of fun with the church providing pulled pork and hotdogs. There are more details on the MHT website @ https://themostholytrinity.org/parish-picnic Also, the 10:30 Novus Ordo Mass at MHT this Sunday will be Deacon Lewis King's First Mass of Thanksgiving following his ordination to the priesthood in Savannah this Saturday. You may recall he was stationed at MHT and sat in choir for the TLMs last summer. He loved MHT, the community, and the reverent Masses, Novus Ordo and TLM, so much that he opted to say his first Mass with us. Please consider going if you can. (There is an indulgence attached to a priest's first Mass after all!) Soon-to-be-Father King will also be at the picnic afterwards and will be giving customary new priest blessings.
