J+M+J Friends, Two reminders for you. First, the monthly Usus Antiquior Mass will be this Sunday, September 25th, the Sixteenth Sunday after Pentecost, at Most Holy Trinity at 12:30. The usual pot luck will be held in St. Francis Hall following the Mass. Bring a dish to share if you can, and enjoy some fellowship. Second, this week follows the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, so it is the Autumn Ember Week. While technically no longer obligatory, the Ember Day custom of fasting and abstinence on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday for the ember week intentions is one of the most ancient customs, dating back to the very beginning of the Church.
