Our patients are our first priority. We have been monitoring the status of COVID-19 closely and until today have maintained a full schedule to serve you, our patients. Although our staff and patients remain healthy, we will be closing the office until April 6th to comply with the order given by the Jefferson County Health Department to close all non-essential businesses and medical services. Many of our patients are at high-risk for serious health issues associated with the spread of COVID-19. Closing our office temporarily will help slow the spread of the disease. Although we would love to continue offering services for everyone during this time, we ask for your patience in rescheduling you until after the Health Department has lifted the order. During this time, Dr. Pierson will be available for serious and emergent consultations only, using an eMedicine software. In-person treatments and consultations will be scheduled on a per-case basis. If you have need for care that cannot wait until April 6th such as infected foot ulcers, gangrene, cellulitis, infected ingrown toenails, etc, please call our office at (205) 424-9199 and you will be forwarded to our on-call service which will allow you to set up an e-consultation with Dr. Pierson. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and your families during this time. We look forward to seeing you all again in 2 weeks!
