Technique for effective steering of a hairpin bend. Note this is a RHD car being driven on German roads. Watch how the hand for the bend (in this case the RIGHT hand for a RIGHT hand bend) first moves to the top of the wheel, then, once you have reacquired the quarter to three position with this hand, both hands then grip the wheel. The other remains loose over the wheel until this point. It takes a little practice but once mastered it proves invaluable. Like many of the techniques we introduce.
