Lilly is 20 yr old Irish Sports Horse who is in soft condition.
☆
She was retired from Eventing 10 yrs ago due to front suspensory ligament damage. She has been with her present owner for four years and sustained a twisted hock, which was treated.
☆
She is now being brought back into work but her owner says she was concerned with the lack of muscle on her offside rump.
☆
I found on her initial assessment when being trotted up she was reluctant to bring her offhind underneath her.
☆
The hands on assessment found her to be tight in her poll, lower part of her Brachiocephalicus going into her pectorals, descending pectorals and her Lumbar region.
☆
On her offside she held the same restrictions but her poll was free, she was more uncomfortable in her Lumbar .
☆
In May she had done a sliding stop in the field due to all of the rain we recieved that month. She has been checked for kissing spine and is all clear.
☆
I felt that she moved more forward after the session.
☆
Homework and Aftercare advise was given looking forward to seing her progress.
