This exhibition shares the outcomes of a research project by Emma Agusita exploring the impacts of ‘hostile’ UK family immigration policies and rules on relationships between British and non-EU partners and families. The project considers the nature and affects of cross-border separation for partners and families, including ways in which people engage in transnational communication in order to maintain emotional connections when apart.
