𝗣𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗗 𝗚𝗢𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗦𝗘 Chasing your pain often leads to a wild goose chase. Unfortunately, that's what the leading strategy is when it comes to dealing with pain: 1. Ask the patient/client where it hurts. 2. Do something to that area. If you have back, knee, or neck pain, whoever you see will most likely look at your back, knee, or neck for the cause. If that helps...fine. You should have clear expectations, however, of what "helps" means. How long should it take? What is the progression of improvement? What are all the ways things can improve? Keep things simple. If you're seeing someone that isn't meeting your improvement expectations, and they are utilizing a thought process where they do something to the area where the pain is, try someone who employs a different thought process. Don't try a different professional that uses the same "do something to the spot that hurts" thought process. Enter the Certified Muscle System Specialist.
