New classes starting this week with Bev Mihelich: Weekly Classes: Wednesday’s: 3:30-4:00, ages 4-7, $5 per week per student. Supplies included. Students will learn different art and craft processes while providing further development of fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. Thursday’s: 3:30-4:30, ages 8-11, $10 per student per week or $35 a month when paid in advanced. Supplies provided. Drawing from life emphasis with mixed media processes used in 2-D and 3-D. Thursday’s: 6:30-8:30, High school through adults, $20 a week or $60 a month when paid in advance. January: wire work, February: needle weaving, March: repeat patterning in 2 and 3-D Art, April: aluminum can boxes, May: sculpting with Papier-mâché Students in 1st grade-high school will have work submitted to participate in the Caldwell Arts Council student competition with the county schools art classes.
