How an item is recorded on an inspection report is a major factor in how a house looks on paper. Having a report filled with words such as, safety concern, risk to children, risk of injury or death, or amateur looking workmanship is not going to help sell a house. What you want on your report are things such as, “No problems observed” or “professional installation noted." My best advice is always to "fix it before you list it."
