Fermentation - Anaerobic respiration Sugar makes Alcohol and Cardon Dioxide. This week I have been fermenting some orange juice so that I can extract the alcohol by distillation. A fun experiment to do. It works quite quickly and soon bubbles of carbon dioxide can be seen
