We carefully masked this table then did a sample spot of a honed finish for our client to see what it would look like. Refinishing a natural stone countertop or table, in this case a beautiful travertine to a honed (low sheen) is an excellent way to change the feel of a room. All of the scratches and unsightly "etch marks" ...often confused for stains, were wet honed out (no dust) & thoroughly cleaned before we sealed the stone with an excellent impregnating sealer, MORE Surface Care's Premium Stone Sealer. This sealer is V.O.C. compliant, food safe, & manufactured in California. This particular project was quoted based off of a few photos without an in home consultation before hand.
