PHOTOGRAMMETRIC MODELLING USING DRONES
This is the result of some 3D photogrammetric modelling I did on St Peters Church down the road in Broughton with Phil White, a local structural and heritage engineer (
http://www.philwhiteassociates.co.uk), a few weeks back.
Images were acquired over a pre-planned grid and the resulting composite map and 3D model constructed using MapsMadeEasy (
http://www.mapsmadeeasy.com).
Please feel free to take a look at an interactive low-res public version:

Thanks to James Butter (church warden) and the Diocese of Lichfield for allowing us to use St Peters church for this project and permission to publish the data and images 😊
