David V. Horste is bringing his Lapidary Gems to BDC for a 2 day Trunk Show this coming Friday & Saturday, April 19 & 20. While David is a master at finding the beauty in all kinds of Natural Stones and Semi-Precious Gems, it is his creative eye that sees the delightful possibilities in what others see as waste. Above is an example of a pendant, a focal bead fashioned from the "over-spray" of a surf-board manufacturing business. Similar to the delightful "Ford-ite" that David has shown in the past, these eye-catching color combinations are instantly appealing. This is David's first visit a year and a half, and he promises more new twists, as well as examples of old favorites.
