Research Coordinator Year & Major: 3rd Year Computational and Systems Biology Major I joined Happy Feet during my freshman year out of an interest to support the health and wellness of LA's unhoused community, a group who face many obstacles when it comes to addressing their basic healthcare needs. Podiatric health is often overlooked, but is fundamental to our comfort and ability to do everyday tasks. Through our clinics, we provide an accessible podiatric health resource to the LA community. This year, I'm looking forward to expanding Happy Feet's the reach of our clinics and forming collaborations with other student orgs focused on serving the basic needs of the unhoused community. In my free time, you can find me crocheting or exploring the outdoors. |
Meet Our Chairs
Caitlyn LoBudget/Fundraising Chair
Year & Major: 3rd Year Physiological Science Major I joined HFC because I am very passionate about providing more accessible healthcare to all individuals of diverse backgrounds. I wanted to get involved in this club specifically because podiatry is a speciality that is often needed, yet overlooked. Walking is often the main source of transportation for the unhoused and it is important that they receive the same comfort that we often take for granted. This year, I look forward to continuing to provide accessible foot care through more HFC clinics as well as continuing to expand the amount of people HFC serves. My hobbies include swimming, crocheting, watching movies, listening to music, and exploring LA with friends. |
