Gallische Hoeve

The Gallic Farm (Gallische Hoeve) near Ghent (Belgium) is an is a historical and archaeological reconstruction of a rural settlement from the late Iron Age - early Gallo-Roman period that tries to relive certain aspects of this period through living history and experimental archaeology. Our museum consists of three reconstructions of Iron Age buildings, a large area for craftsmen, Celtic Fields with historical vegetables and a sanctuary. A combat reënactment group, Furor, is also connected to the Gallic Farm.

The Gallic Farm can be visited on Saturday from the first weekend of April to the last weekend of October.  Visits during the week or on Sunday are also possible with a reservation. Groups have to make a reservation.
