Colleen has been local to Southern Maryland all her life! She has been in the professional pet grooming industry for over 15+ years. She has received certifications in Pet Bathing & Brushing, AKC Bichon , AKC SAFE Certified Groomer, Creative Grooming and Pet CPR & First Aid. She is also a certified groomer through IPG!  She continues to advance in her education in pet grooming by going to pet expo's and seminars all over!  She is very passionate about grooming and this passion is shown in her grooming abilities. 

Victoria has always been an animal advocate and shows pride in the work she does as well as the relationships she makes with her clients and their owners! She has received certifications in Pet Bathing & Brushing, COVID-19 Salon Sanitation, AKC SAFE Certified Groomer, AKC Golden Retriever and is a certified pet groomer through IPG. She started her career in the pet grooming industry 6 years ago and has continued to grow in her skills and knowledge of pet grooming and safety.

ALYSSA

Alyssa joins us from West River Maryland where she worked for several years at a small yet exclusive grooming salon. At this particular salon, Alyssa was able to focus on hand scissoring, building a technique that can be hard to find in fast paced grooming salons these days. She specializes in the tedious fully hand scissored haircuts typically desired on longer, plush coats including breeds such as doodles, bichons, and poodles. Alyssa has also had formal classroom training in many different breed specific patterns, achieving so many service-learning hours in each breed pattern. 

KAELYN

Kaelyn, or the Doodle Queen as we call her, has always been an avid animal lover and advocate! With over 10 years of experience in the Pet Industry, she has familiarized herself with an array of different breeds. Kaelyn actively competes in AKC Conformation Shows nationwide with her Cane Corso’s. Kaelyn prides herself in her ability to give the perfect pawdicure! Kaelyn is certified in Brachycephalic Breed Safety. She is also knowledgeable in Hand Stripping techniques which is a rare skill to find in the grooming industry.

ALEXANDRIA

Aly, a Georgia peach, has always loved being around animals of all kinds! Previously working in the veterinary field, she has joined us in the grooming industry where she prides herself in thorough desheds as well as helping all the pups she meets feel as comfortable as possible in the salon. Aly’s favorite breeds to work with are Huskies and Great Pyrenees. “The more fur, the better!” is her motto both at work and at home with her 3 dogs.

VICTORIA

Victoria has been grooming for 4+ years! Her favorite breeds of dogs to groom are Doodles and Pitbulls. She cares for four dogs of her own which include three Pitbulls and a French Bulldog. Victoria prides herself in giving the best brushout and deshed treatments. She also enjoys working with puppies. Patience is the skill you need to be a groomer and Victoria has lots! Being local to Southern Maryland her whole life she is proud she can offer her grooming skills to the community. 

LINDSAY

Lindsay has truly found her passion as a dog groomer. Growing up, she was enrolled in the St. Mary’s County 4-H program where she started learning and working with animals. She is an AKC Safe groomer and has been certified in Canine and Feline CPR and First-Aid, Salon Sanitation, and Puppy Handling. Her favorite breed to groom is Doodles and she loves paying close attention to detail with hand scissoring techniques. Lindsay makes it a priority to continuously learn more about dog grooming with attending certificate courses and going to dog grooming expos annually.

ELLIE

Ellie is a National Certified Master Groomer through Dog Groomers Association of America. Born in London, England she traveled to all parts of the world with her military husband settling in Southern Maryland. She has groomed extensively in Europe and the United States. She owns and loves Standard Poodles and is certified in all breeds. Although having groomed for many years she believes in always being able to learn something new! "I love all dogs and am happy to have found a home here at Bark & Bath Pet Salon."

Taylor found her passion for grooming in 2020 after being around, working with, caring for, and loving all types of animals her entire life. She is so happy to have found her home at Bark n Bath to continue her grooming career. She is AKC SAFE Certified and Pet CPR Certified. German Shepards and Boxers hold a special place in her heart, since she has 3 of her own at home. She also loves to work with rescues and dogs that are unsure of the grooming process, as she has a calming personality to soothe and comfort them while they are groomed.
