Our in-home pet sitting allows your companion to be as comfortable and calm as possible, whether you're away for just a few minutes or a few days. We also offer nail trims, yard clean up, off-site baths, pet taxi services, and more!
Dog Training
Our balanced approach to dog training, combined with private, in-home lessons, lets us evaluate your pet in their natural environment so that any behavioral or problematic issues can be observed and addressed directly.
Dog Walking
A professional pet-sitter will come to your home and walk your dog(s) in the neighborhood they know and love. Whether you have a long day ahead of you, an event after work, or simply want to make sure your dog gets a midday stretch, we are here to make your day easier!

Let us introduce ourselves. We are Alana and Katherine, the founders of Claws and Effect. We’ve been friends for over 18 years and have experienced all the ups and downs that life has had to offer. Above all the challenges life has thrown our way, there’s been one powerful force that has kept our friendship strong: communication (and laughter, definitely laughter).
Together, we discovered that our true passion is in providing care to your faithful companions. That’s why, in 2018, Claws and Effect, Inc. was founded. We take great pride in our ability to make you, our friends and clients, feel comfortable in the absence of your pets. Through our exceptional kindness, ability to empathize, good humor, and above all else, communication, we are here to help you navigate this crazy world.
