Enjoy sailing cruises, weekend getaways or extended holidays on a 1930 historic charter yacht.

Arcturus is available for customised yacht charter and can accommodate up to 15 passengers on a day charter, or a maximum of 5 overnight.

We are also available for short charters which allow you to enjoy the splendour of the Waitemata Harbour, Waiheke Island, Rangitoto Island and Browns Island.

Arcturus is a unique classic schooner, General George Patton and his wife sailed the yacht to Hawaii where he was stationed.

With timeless, elegant looks and a history that links her with one of America’s greatest war heroes, the classic schooner is offering guests a first-class sailing experience in Auckland.

Please note that for your comfort and enjoyment all cruises are subject to cancellation or rescheduling in the event of unsuitable weather conditions.

Auckland Habour Sunset Cruise

Enjoy a unique two hour sailing experience in Auckland’s Waitemata Harbour. Participate with hands on sailing or simply sit back and relax while Auckland city slowly drifts by. Hauraki Gulf Eco Adventure

Ever dream of going where the roads can’t take you? Than the Eco Adventure day charter is perfect for you! Hands on sailing or just relaxing we’ll take you to breathtaking places hidden from everyday sight. Explore distinctive flora and fauna, discover trails, desolate beaches or visit popular destinations. Walking up to a unique extinct volcanic crater, enjoying lunch with views on the Hauraki Gulf vista, bird watching and more.

Waiheke Cruise

A full day of sailing and culture.
Arcturus will depart from Waiheke to various destinations on the islands depending on wind direction and weather. Join us at Waiheke for a day of exploring the Waiheke Island and its culture. We’ll head to the Bottom End for a tour of the Maori pa or the renown Man O’ War Vineyards for lunch and leisurely sailing. Or pick your own Waiheke destination on the Waiheke Information site. We can also sail passengers to and from Waiheke as a fun alternative to the ferry.
