Sunshine Family Dentistry was established in 1974 and has been serving customer's dental needs for over 39 years!  Dr. Oxer joined Dr. Shriner in 1999 and in 2018, Dr. Veronee became part of the Sunshine Family Dentistry team.  Dr. Shriner retired in 2011 after 35 years of service to Lake Placid and is now enjoying his retirement with his grandkids.

Our technical team includes three dental assistants and three dental hygienists, licensed and registered with the State of Florida. All of our dental assistants achieve the Certification for Expanded Duties which gives our practice the capability to accomplish the most difficult cases, while at the same time making the patients feel comfortable during their visits.

Our hygienists are highly trained and board certified to practice dental hygiene. The Preventive Oral Health Program is administered by our hygienists and is dedicated to keeping your dental health at the highest level possible by customizing your preventive plan to your needs.

Our business staff is there to assist you in the areas of appointment scheduling, financial arrangements and insurance claims management. We believe that it is very important to work with you to make high quality dentistry affordable and deliver the best dental value possible. Our job is to completely inform you of fees before treatment and help you maximize your dental benefits if you have dental insurance so that there are no surprises during your treatment.
