Concealed Handgun Permit Course
The Commonwealth of Virginia mandates training for each individual applying for a concealed handgun
permit. Our CHP Course exceeds the State requirements. We teach you what you need to know versus the minimum requirements. Our instructors
are all DCJS or NRA certified. It is very important that the student already be familiar with their firearm as there is no time allotted
in class for personal firearm instruction. Personal instruction can be scheduled with an instructor if needed.
Our focus will
be on Va. Code 18.2-308 certification, safety, liability, use of deadly force, interfacing with law enforcement, gun laws, case law
and current legislation among other legal aspects. Even if you are active duty military and an expert shot, this is an excellent course
to get you up to date on Virginia gun laws regarding self defense.
This is the premier course in the Tidewater area but the word
is getting out. We've had students from as far away as northern Virginia.
Our on-site concealed carry training is essential for everyone who has a pistol for self-defense,not just concealed weapon permit Seekers. All who might use a firearm in self-defense need certified training and safety and defensive use of a handgun.
This concealed carry course satisfies Virginia requirements to obtain a concealed handgun permit.
Both virtual and in-person seats are available but both require that in-person shooting test. Please speak to one of our sales associates for full details and schedule. All Rage Fees Included: Class size is limited and prepaid reservations are required.
*This course requires a handgun and 25 rounds of ammunition.
*Because of the 25 round qualification you must have a handgun and experience and using it prior to taking this course.
