Dr. Otoniel Huertas is the medical director for Vaginal Rejuvenation Center of Texas, CosmeticGyn Center and Natural Hormone Replacement Center. He is one of a small number of gynecologist’s in the United States having completed advanced training in aesthetic reconstructive vaginal surgery.
Dr. Huertas is a graduate of The University of Charleston, in Charleston, WV, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Biology degree in 1990. In 1994 he graduated from the Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Dr. Huertas then completed his internship in General Surgery at Boston University Medical Center, Boston, MA. in 1995. His residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology was then obtained in 1999 at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Science Campus in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Dr. Huertas continues to pursue excellence in urogynecology and cosmetic-gynecology.
He has been trained in Beverly Hills by the famous Dr. Matlock from the TV Show Dr. 90210 and founder of the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of Los Angeles. Dr. Matlock is the founder and medical director of the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute® of America. Dr. Matlock is also the pioneer of the trademarked procedures, Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation® (LVR®), and Designer Laser Vaginoplasty® (DLV®). He has also attained additional advanced medical education training at Harvard Medical School and the prestigious Pelosi Institute for Cosmetic Surgery in New Jersey.
