Product Description

National Instruments cRIO-9045 CompactRIO Controller The cRIO-9045 (Part Number: 785623-01) falls into a category of devices standardized using the ARM AXI-4 bus protocol. This provides a user-friendly path for those who have developed IP for deployment on ARM-based systems, as they can transfer their IP to Zynq SoC, Kintex-7 FPGAs, or another variant of Xilinx 7 series unit with relative ease. In conjunction with LabVIEW, a customized application-specific IP suite is offered, as well as access to the Xilinx CORE Generator IP. The latter is standardized on the AXI interface, boosting IP interoperability while simplifying maintenance and future enhancements to designs. The cRIO-9045 comes with 8 slots, operates at a CPU frequency of 1.30 GHz, and offers up to 4 GB of storage. The cRIO-9045 runs on the NI Linux Real-Time operating system. It is compatible with the NI CompactRIO driver software and can be used with other software packages such as LabVIEW 2017 or later, LabVIEW Real-Time Module 2017 or later, LabVIEW FPGA Module 2017 or later, and Eclipse Edition 2014 or later. Kintex-7 FPGAs are an excellent choice for various products that take advantage of the LabVIEW RIO reconfigurable I/O architecture. These devices offer the capacity and performance of previous FPGAs but at half the power requirement. The considerable reduction in power usage allows for over two times the digital signal processing capacity per device as compared to previous hardware generations enabled by FPGAs. This increase in DSP and logic resources allows users to perform more complex calculations and handle greater signal processing and real-time analysis. Integrating FPGAs and high-performance data converters into custom designs can be a challenging task. FlexRIO provides an off-the-shelf solution that incorporates the latest FPGA and converter technology, helping engineers and scientists deliver results more quickly. The cRIO-9045 weighs 15 oz. and has physical dimensions of 12.94 x 3.47 x 4.77 in. It has a recommended operating temperature range of -20 °C to 55 °C and a storage temperature range of -40 °C to 85 °C.
