The Genuine U.S. military issue large size ALICE pack is a true vintage backpack for the long haul.  Manufactured from waterproof coated nylon, this is one large pack that can hold your gear for long trips making it a great pack for Hunting or Camping. The A.L.I.C.E pack (All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment) is the classic military pack that was the most widely used pack in the military to take our troops all over the world. The space is designed with 1 large main compartment with a radio/poncho divider and 3 outside pockets for a total capacity of 3,800 cu. This Large Military ALICE packs come with a bag only since it should be used with a frame.  Add a New ALICE Frame and keep it authentic with a U.S. Issue Shoulder and Kidney pad

Condition Guide

Surplus is real military gear and the exact conditions may vary.  We grade used military surplus to give you options and offer a more clear description. Military gear was built well and used by soldiers proving its tested quality.  We hope you find that it serves you well. 

Grade 1 Like New:  Out of the factory case or may have only minor signs of use or storage marks. 

Grade 2 Used : What we call normal surplus. The gear is fully usable and shows normal signs of use and has a lot of life left. Some items may have stains, writing, color fading, repairs, and or surface rust on them.  We found that up to a small 1/4” hole or fray does not repair well and do not affect the gears performance.  Since surplus ALICE packs are now vintage some may have a interior hood pocket that is ripped and is not repairable unless replaced.    

Grade 3:  ALICE packs in this condition can still be used but had a rougher life.  They show heavier stains, may still have a tear, broken snap or something needing repair. This is great for, extra gear or as a budget item.
