It’s been over a month since the lockdown started in NYC
and much longer in other parts of the world.
Business’s have been shuttered, people are locked in their homes and if you do decide to go out, you have to deal with all the new rules in place and the more rules that are on there way.

The NEW world definitely has arrived and this is only the beginning.
What will become of our dance music industry?
What will clubs, festivals, bars all look like in the future?
The rules of less patrons in a venue, creates almost no absorption of sound. When the venues start opening and people are allowed back to dancing, what will that look like?

Too many questions with very little answers at the moment…….

Eqwel’s 2 track EP titled “ No Absorption “ dives into a deep electronic world, influenced by the idea of empty venues.
Side A is a heavy but deep techno track that carries on its back a deep atmospheric sound to compliment the grittiness of the drumline. Side B is a techno inspired deep house track, that grooves a bit slower but still carrying with it, the Eqwel sound.
