'Free My Soul' describes the emotional release from separating oneself from a failing, ending relationship. As a very introspective stance, I felt very connected to these lyrics.

I wrote and demo'd this song out very quickly in April of 2022. By the time June came around, I had it recorded and sent out it out for the session musicians to work on.

All of the music and lyrics were written by me, Billy McGuire.
