The energy consumed in our company derives from renewable sources, thanks to a photovoltaic system and the purchase of 100% certified renewable energy. We are characterized by continuous research towards technological innovation which allows us to identify increasingly cutting-edge solutions in our crops: an example is our greenhouse and the innovative Vertical Farm, built thinking about the agriculture we will need in our immediate future.
It means the total absence of products of animal origin, starting from the fertilizers used to cultivate our plants up to the packaging in the packing phase.
Through the Veganok certification we ensure our customers a complete absence of animal derivatives, for a more ethical supply chain that satisfies both the final consumer and Mother Nature.
In an increasingly fast-growing world, it has been estimated that by 2050 we will need to produce 70% more food. To meet this demand, it will be necessary to pay great attention to technological innovations in the agricultural sector, based on sustainability and ethics. Our ambition is in fact to pursue a 4.0 agriculture that will no longer depend on the uniform application of water, fertilizers and pesticides on whole fields, but on the use of reduced quantities of resources concentrated on multilevel areas.And it is precisely for this reason that, thanks to the contribution of Piedmont Region in 2018, we were able to carry out a project that anticipates the future: A Vertical Farming installation that is unique in Italy.
