The Black Bear Pub & Grille began in 2007 and has earned a reputation for our commitment to great food and the largest selection of craft brews on tap in the area -- featuring a selection of our favorite Wisconsin craft brews -- and Guinness ... always Guinness.  

 

We also have a full selection of wines and a full-service bar, featuring our famous Bacon Bloody Mary's, Stone Lake Cosmo, XL Vodka Cranberry, Perfect Top-Shelf Margaritas, and everything from Perlick's locally-distilled Yeoman Vodka to top-shelf Bourbons and our favorite Scotch and Whiskey/Whisky.  We also can make your Martini shaken or stirred...and, yes, we really do muddle our Old Fashioneds.

 

Our menu features the best Comfort Food, including our famous stone-oven pizzas, homemade soups, and our Pot-Roast Hoagie, "The sandwich you never knew you wanted."  All of our specials, sauces, gravies, and relishes are made daily from our own family recipes that simply taste great with beer (We're calling it: "Austria-Lithuanian Fusion").

Our goal is to create a relaxing, Northwoods experience for you and your family and friends that you cannot get anywhere else. We hope it is a place where you will want to return again and again. Find us when you need a place to meet people--or when you just want to escape the cabin--and talk craft beer while you enjoy dinner in a laid-back atmosphere surrounded by friends (...and 11 HDTVs). Of course, if you need a place to work remotely on your laptop with a beer in your hand, we completely understand...and we're here for you.

We also love to travel, so at times we'll probably have a conversation about places you've been and where you would recommend we visit when we are in your neck of the woods.
