Odd Disappearance involving Breakaway Mini Golf

Just out of curiosity, has anyone heard what happened to the mini golf course on the Breakaway. I'm just wondering if they have given up on the concept all together or have other plans for the space.

They got rid of it on Getaway too....I was so looking forward to a game or 10!

Wasn't the funnel expanded when she was at the shipyard for the exhaust scrubbers?  That would have then occupied the space needed for the mini golf, correct?

 

Both ships had the same work done at the same yard at the same time during COVID.

Thank you hallux. That thread really answered my question. That new smoke stack system sure took up some real estate.

I was just on Getaway in March. There is still plenty of room for them to set up a new course. I hope that they replace the old one. It is a fun outdoor activity for the days that the weather is not nice enough for swimming or waterslides. We talked to some very disappointed young teens. They were really disappointed it had been removed along with some 60 year olds that also wanted to play.
