Do not go here if you are another race other than Hispanic or Guatemalan. I tried going here to check it out and to have a birthday drink. The doorman security told me there was a $50 cover charge. $50 just to get in the door. I don’t know if they were trying to rip me off or I had the wrong skin color. But I will tell everyone not to go here. And I will never try to go here ever again!! What a disappointment!! DONT GO HERE! I think they might be racist here.

This is an amazing place to go Salsa and Bachata dancing in the San Diego area. Dancers from all around drive many miles to dance here. The door opens at 8pm and an excellent 45 minute basic Salsa / Bachata lesson starts at 8:15pm. Beginnings will love it and intermediates will brush up and help out the beginners. Lots of people and energy. There are a lot of beginners so if you don't know how to salsa or Bachata there are plenty of dancers willing to help. There are mostly intermediate dancers with a lot of advanced dancers so everyone will fit in.There is usually a break around midnight for a dance performance. Guys bring extra shirts to change your sweety shirts out. Bring them inside in a bag and change in the restroom because they do not want you going out to the car to change. It's a safe place to dance with multiple security guards. Fun fun fun to dance the night away and burn lots of calories. I highly recommend Torch!

One of the very Best venues in San Diego. Alex has an extraordinary vibe on the Salsa dance scene! During the time of the Pandemic he kept the music flowing and provided a well deserved accolades for being ahead of the curve. The Sunset Salsa outdoor venue was well attended and carefully addressed to ensure safety and an enjoyable experience. Torch delivered on so many levels and continues to do so to the benefit of the Salsa/Bachata Community. Thank you, Salsero for making such wonderful contributions. Last Salsero Facebook

It's a great place to start learning or continue improving your dancing skill or just to come visit and try it if you still on the fence. It is open for public dance on Fridays nights at 8:30pm, no strings attached you may visit as many times as you like. The instructors are super fun and knowledgeable can teach Latin and ballroom dances. Bachata, salsa, cha-cha-cha, merengue, mambo, rumba, samba🕺💃

Great crowd of people. Generally older demographic but some young and all very kind and welcoming people. I came alone and there was no issues finding a partner. My only request is the salsa instructor slow things down.

Great place to dance latin music in the bay area. I was there on Friday 14, 2018. The people was pretty friendly. However, the place is furnace. Please DJ update your music.... Thanks,

I went here for a social event in the year 2017. Even though the entire community was friendly, the folks affiliated with the business were particularly welcoming for people who are from out-of-town. I hope things are the same as how I remember because I'd love to come back again soon!

Great for a local social or a get together with friends. However, If you are serious about learning Salsa look elsewhere.
