Bio

Noelia Ibáñez, member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), is the sole proprietor of her New York City-based interior design firm, BYNOELIA LLC, since 2014, which has participated in numerous design shows in Manhattan, including:

  • Holiday House NYC 2014, to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and in collaboration with Gaggenau, by creating a magical kitchenette/lounge from a walking closet of a master bedroom suite.
  • Lladró Boutique NYC 2014, producing a delicate special vignette with flowers and organic elements highlighting some of its most beautiful hand-made porcelains at its exclusive location on Madison Avenue.
  • IFCC 2015/Lladró, designing the artful display booth for its newest porcelain lights and home décor collections.
  • FENDI Casa, curating the Madison Avenue window installation with the elegant and latest summer FENDI Outdoor Collection 2015.

Ms. Ibáñez’s breadth of work includes hospitality projects, commercial as well as multi-residential and mixed-use buildings, senior living, institutional, and high-end private residences.  Participation on LEED-certified projects and incorporation of sustainable design principles.

In addition, Noelia Ibáñez led Handel Architects’ New York Interiors and was involved in most of the firm’s prominent interiors work from 2004 to 2009 and from 2012 to 2020.  Projects included the Dream Downtown Hotel in New York City, which was featured in Interior Design Magazine in September 2011 and won multiple interiors awards.  Ms. Ibáñez headed the design of DIFFA’s Dining By Design NYC 2015, representing FENDI Casa and Manhattan Magazine, by creating a glamorous dining installation to benefit and raise funds for fighting HIV/AIDS.

Originally from Spain, Ms. Ibáñez holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design and graduated Summa Cum Laude from The New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University in Boston.
