Attorney Andrea McKenna
Andrea McKenna was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She attended Valparaiso University and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in English and Humanities. After college, she taught middle school and high school English and language arts.
Andrea attended DePaul University College of Law, graduating with honors. After law school, she worked at small law firm in the Quad Cities, where she practiced primarily family law and criminal defense in both Illinois and Iowa.
Andrea joined Robert E. Canfield in January of 2016, which is now Canfield, McKenna & Lawson, after moving to the area with her husband, Chad. Andrea is a divorce attorney in Rockford IL, practices in both Winnebago and Boone counties and one of the top female attorneys in Rockford. She spends most of her time on family law, dissolution, and post-dissolution matters, but also enjoys the breadth of general practice.
When she’s not working, Andrea spends every second she can with her husband and kids. They enjoy their church, walking the river path, and exploring local restaurants and businesses in Rockford.
