I bought this to make smoothies and soft food for my son. He was about to have his wisdom teeth out. It was very disappointing. It is described as high tech but it did not perform like a high tech blender should. It does have soft button touch for different foods. What was disappointing was the time it took to blend things, and the ordinary results. Frozen fruit took a long time to blend, and ice didn’t crush. When blending anything not liquid the blender would quickly just go to revving mode and not doing any work. The blade is just about flat, with no real higher ability than a cheaper blender. It was not worth the price. It was also difficult to get the blender jug seated on the motor. The clear sound reducing cover was a bit annoying. Reboxing it was extremely difficult .
