What is the teaching approach at Colorado Trucking College?

At Colorado Trucking College, we emphasize 1:1 hands-on learning. Our family-owned school takes pride in offering personalized instruction, focusing on each student’s needs for effective learning.

What types of courses are offered at Colorado Trucking College?

We offer a range of courses to suit different needs:

  • OTR Entry Level CDL Class A/Automatic course- $4,500
  • OTR Entry Level CDL Class A/Manual course- $5,000
  • CDL Class B/Automatic course- $2,000
  • CDL Class B/Manual course- $2,500
  • Hazmat online course- $250

WHAT DO I NEED TO ENROLL?

  • You need to have your learner’s permit,
  • DOT medical,
  • driver’s license and
  • a $500 deposit.

WHERE DO I OBTAIN MY LEARNER’S PERMIT?

The learner’s permit can be obtained by taking the written exams at the DMV. For Class A license you need general knowledge, combination and airbrakes. For Class B you need general knowledge and airbrakes. Endorsement have their own requirements. https://dmv.colorado.gov/cdl-general-information.

WHERE DO I OBTAIN MY DOT?

The DOT physical can be obtained at any DOT certified clinic. (ex. Concentra, Driver’s Choice).

HOW LONG IS THE PROGRAM?
  • Class A is 2 to 3 weeks.
  • Class B is 1 to 1.5 weeks.
What is the experience level of the trainers at Colorado Trucking College?

Our trainers have extensive experience, with years of expertise in Over-The-Road (OTR) driving or as trainers in other institutions. This ensures that our students learn from professionals who understand the industry inside-out.
