Love it. Have been using it for many years and the price is awesome.

so do you use it to clean windows or just the sills an tracks?

isnt thAT STUFF THEY SELL AT THE DOLLAR STORE?

Yep. Just gotta watch out though, it says not to put the concentrate on glass on the back. I just don’t let it dry.

just tracks is what i would recommend

Stuff smells horrible. I have used it as a spotter doing carpet cleaning in the past. Very high PH, have to rinse it a million times to get the residue out of the carpet. But, it did get stains out that other stuff couldn’t. I don’t know why you would want to use it for window cleaning, grease cutting ability? I would not want to have to subject a homeowner to the chemically smell of LA’s Totally awesome - they might think you are using formaldehyde.

I wouldn’t use it on windows jus tracks.

I love Awesome, however my contractor used it to clean 6 large windows installed in my home and some are permanently streaked. Does anyone have any suggestions of what I can do to remove the streaks caused by the product being left on?

How old are the windows? What brand?

Damage from using a degreaser on glass can happen for a couple of reasons. One is called “tin-etch haze”, and is often seen on older float glass windows. Tin-etch can usually be polished out with a rubbing compound such as cerium oxide and a rotary polisher. Depending on the severity of the reaction, it can be very labor intensive to restore.

It’s also possible that there is an exterior coating on the glass, such as a “self cleaning” or “low maintenance” titanium oxide coating. If such a surface is damaged, the whole window would need to be replaced.
