Can a Co-host become a Super host?

Bonjour Airbnb Community!

I have relocated to the UK and I am currently co-hosting for my landlady. She is lovely and has the house set up with a great blend of longer term Resident rooms and shorter term Airbnb rooms. I am primarily responsible for responding to guest inquires, checking them in, hosting and of course cleaning. She has had some correspondence from time to time and supplies the house!

I have a great rating thus far, and am deeply saddened that I will be completely overlooked and Superhost status will be granted to the homeowner who is largely absent from the equation.

Does any one have any suggestions?

This does not seem right somehow.

Thank you in advance,

Riadh

@Riadh1 - as the co-host, you are not eligible for Superhost Status unless you have your own listing.  The Listing Admin/host owner will be the recipient of your hard work.  Just like the boss at work gets the credit for all the good support work you do to make them look good.  "Star ratings left by the guest can affect the Superhost status of the listing admin, but not the Superhost status of a co-host."

Thank you for responding Alice & Jeff!

May I just say how absolutely horrendous that is, on both counts.

Thank you again however.

Wishing you well. 🙂
