Discovering What Might Be

Listen, guide and motivate are all words used to describe what I do in a Life, Leadership or Culture coaching session. My expertise is moving folks from what is to what might be, breaking the cycle of ambiguity when our thoughts no longer serve the highest good. This same growth can occur with individuals or in teams.

Peaceful Living

My passion behind my business is a strong belief that we all can live peaceful lives with the right tool set. Peaceful doesn’t mean boring, inactive, or unmotivated — it means living the life you want without worry or limiting beliefs that cause stress. Peaceful living feels like freedom-living from the inside out. Peaceful living in teams provides this same freedom giving everyone the tools to bring their best to the work place.

Who I Am

It was my own search for peace and a deeper meaning to my life that led me to do what I was meant to do: life, leadership and culture coaching. I love helping clients explore more about themselves, to find their own unique deeper meaning and discover what might be in the next phase of their life or business.

Where I Began

I started my career in training and development with a Degree in Communication with an emphasis in Public Speaking and Secondary Education. Shortly after graduation I taught communication courses at Boise State University and owned a nationally accredited preschool. My strengths in teaching led me to work as a National Trainer with a  Pharmaceutical company, a second grade teacher and an Executive Director of a non-profit. But, it was in 2008 I landed the perfect job – a Strengths Coach.

Where I Am Now

My life and career has been dedicated to teaching and I have trained corporations, small businesses, families and couples, teaching ages 3 to 76. My adaptability and talent for breaking down difficult concepts for all to understand has helped empower individuals and teams alike to discover their true path and focus on what is right vs. what is wrong and how to leverage strengths to be most efficient. Along with my Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Education, I’m a Martha Beck trained Life Coach, Gallup trained StrengthsFinder Coach, a Mediator, and a certified Life Cycle Celebrant. I value all of my education but what I appreciate most is the wisdom I have gained along the way simply by living life.

What I Do

As a Life coach, I work with individuals who are looking to create a pathway to reach their set goals. Whether it is work, personal, or family, I act as an unbiased thinking partner who holds clients accountable with weekly or bi-weekly one-hour sessions. Coaching can provide focused time to build skills, shift mindsets, and set yourself up for unprecedented success. Many of the benefits of Life Coaching are:

As a Culture coach, I help unify a workplace that consists of shared values, belief systems, attitudes, and assumptions shared by individuals’ upbringing, social and cultural context. A Strengths approach to a healthy culture is based on positive psychology; working with what is right about a person rather than what is wrong. By focusing on a person’s natural talents, performance rises to a near-perfect level by creating teams who are six times more engaged in their work.

Leadership coaching concentrates on helping those with the capacity to lead to become more in tune with their team’s individuality and skills. It incorporates much of the same ideas behind Culture coaching to ensure a leader is able to understand, recognize and leverage Strengths in a way that benefits and blends the team into a cohesive, successful unit.
