This year’s list of the best luxury restaurants in Vietnam as voted by readers of U.S. travel site Tripadvisor has five Hanoi representatives, three in HCMC and two in Da Nang.

Rhythms Restaurant, on the seventh floor of La Sinfonía del Rey Hotel & Spa, topped the list.

The restaurant provides an outside dining area that allows you to enjoy views of Hoan Kiem (Sword) Lake and the Old Quarter.

Its menu highlights traditional Vietnamese cuisine with signature dishes including roasted chicken north-west Vietnam style, fresh summer rolls and spring rolls (pictured), and banana rolls and ice cream.

A set menu costs VND600,000 (US$25) per person.

Cloud Nine Restaurant on Hang Be Street in Hanoi's Old Quarter came in second.

The restaurant is capable of accommodating 80 guests at a time and provides an outdoor space for those wanting views of Hoan Kiem Lake.

The restaurant serves guests with iconic dishes from Vietnam's northern, central, and southern regions, such as fragrant beef noodles, grilled beef, and bun cha (grilled pork with rice noodles).

A lunch set costs VND595,000 while a dinner set costs VND895,000.

Bistecca Restaurant Danang on the seventh floor of New Orient Hotel in Hai Chau District of Da Nang City came third.

The restaurant serves French cuisine prepared by Chef Sakal Pheoung who has 15 years of experience in multiple 5-star hotels, with signature dishes including pan-fried foie gras served with port jus and mango, and tofu parfait crowned with pearls of salmon roe and micro-herbs grown in Da Lat.

The name of the restaurant was inspired by the comic character named Corto who has a free spirit, the desire to travel the world, and make friends along the way.

The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Prices range from VND250,000 to 1.65 million.
