Our primary goal is to build a sustainable business that offers only the best direct-from-source vanilla produce while practicing sustainable and eco-friendly farming processes and be charitable in all our dealings.

Like most tropical foods, Vanilla beans have a long and broad history of trading injustices to farmers. We can all decide to point fingers at the people involved in buying the vanilla pods, at those curing and drying the beans, or at the traders who sell the pods to wholesalers and retailers, or we can decide to take a stand.

How? Not taking for granted the many spices, flavors, and foods grown in the tropics and other areas of the developing world and not opting for fake imitations. With this, we can all play our parts in supporting the welfare of the farmers and their families.

In the developed world, our small-scale farmers are backed by various organizations that lobby for better treatment, but such hardly exist in most developing countries. 

At Earth's Flavors, we have decided to take it a step further by sourcing all our vanilla beans from small-scale farmers in Madagascar, the most neglected people in the vanilla business.  

We assist them in streamlining their farming process; we also partnered with a Madagascar-based charity organization that helps the children of small-time farmers achieve their educational goals.

 

At Earth’s flavor, we source all the vanilla we sell directly from the farmers, our trade prices are fair, and we do not in any way try to short-change our farmers. 

 

We take great pride in our humanity's first values and beliefs. In partnering with a respectable charity outfit based in Madagascar to help send our farmers' children to school, we help ensure the family's farming business continuity. 

We are of the strong opinion that education is the best policy. In helping train the children of small scale farmers, they would, in turn, grow to put their education to best practice in assisting their family's farming business to become more streamlined and mechanized.

When you purchase vanilla from us, we can keep advising farmers on current prices, newer farming practices, the world market, and other resources that can be of service to them. Your purchases help make it possible for us to identify ways we can be of service to farmers in communities all over the tropics.
