Description: Masusa offers traditional valencian dishes and spanish typical tapas. Simple but high quality food, looking for our roots and fresh local resources. Our chef Susana (from where our name comes; Mama Susana) cooks as old style but with a chic contemporary touch. We are open for breakfast, brunch, daily menu, drinks and tapas in the evening. Hello everyone!
Finally I am out of Barcelona and I’m so happy to be in Valencia.
The very first and important thing from my ToDoBucketlist was to try authentic and original paella!
I just typed “paella” on Google map search and chose Mesusa bar due to high rating and high satisfaction level based on clients reviews.
So we are family of 4 (super hungry-super starving) ordered Valenciano mix ensalada, three different tapas - berenjena en tempura, hummus and gambas con ajillo. For the main course we chose Valencian chicken paella and Red spicy paella with seafood.
I don’t have enough words to describe our tastebuds happiness! Everything was mouthwatering, especially (personally for me) eggplant in tempura with honey sauce and Red paella🤩🤩🤩
They also have a wide selection of deserts, but unfortunately we had to skip it, because we were
So full!
I also want to empathize excellent service! The staff was friendly! Literally friendly, at the end we all felt like this was just a dinner at our friends house.
Entonces, Masusa-perfect place to start acquaintance with Valencia❤️
P.S. FYI! They don’t have chairs for kids. For me it was okay, because we had baby stroller.

I went there with my niece and her partner. We had the set menu at EUR 14.00 per person, drinks not included. The starters were good but the Fideuá de Gandía was excellent. I would have wanted to eat more. Sweets were also good. The whole experience was good and service second to none. Will definitely go back.

We really enjoyed our visit to Masusa.

The Paella Valenciana was perfect, and the baguettes and tapas were very tasty.

Quick service and reasonably priced.

Such a cute place and staff was friendly. We got the seafood paella and it was so salty, it was so hard to eat. It was cooked well but ask for NO salt. Also no actually seafood on top like traditional paella. It was all chopped up inside.

You can't go wrong in Masusa. The staff and their personal touch could not be better. The food is just great, without a doubt they have the best menús in Ruzafa. The first courses, whatever they are, are always spectacular, especially the bacaladilla. The rices... amazing! I only gave them 5 stars because 6 stars was not an option.
