With a background in accounting, partner/managing member of five corporations and former professional athlete in barrel racing, Weaver saw a great need in Oklahoma for a rodeo clinic. In 2015 Shelly’s experience in the non-profit arena began, launching a rodeo clinic which brought in professional rodeo athletes at no cost to the participants. By 2018 the clinic had grown to include eight rodeo events with over four thousand in attendance, making it the largest rodeo clinic in the world.
In 2018, Weaver felt there was a need to provide a top tier training camp in mainstream sports for youth. As a result Epos Sports Experience was launched. This innovative sports camp hosted eight different sport clinics at one time at Oklahoma State University. Attendance exploded after offering this camp for a low price and sponsoring 40% of all youth.
2024 looks to be another exciting year as Shelly and her team take Epos Sports Experience Camp to a national level, with plans to expand each year into different states while continuing to grow the camp at Oklahoma State University each year.
Shelly Weaver is a wife, mother and grandmother. Shelly’s experiences in sports and her faith are motivating factors to help give today’s youth who have a passion for sports, the ability to pursue their dreams and to win in life.
