Professor Richardson is a highly experienced international property executive who leads a team of subject matter property experts located in Canada, China, India, The Middle East, and The United States. He consults for very large global clients such as Ferrari SpA and Aldar Properties PJSC, having led the development of such mega projects as the 5 million sf Ferrari World and Yas Super Regional Mall in Abu Dhabi, UAE. An educator as well, he has served as Professor, International Development, Asia for Canadore College, an advanced institution that has a high proportion of international students who study both on it's five campuses or online in their home countries.
An early PropTech Pioneer, he founded Richardson Profit Systems Corporation to successfully develop and market, across North America, a computerized Management Information System for Commercial Properties, The Profit Edge.
He is the CEO of property consultancies Black Opal Property Advisors Inc. and ReCast Properties Inc., both based in Phoenix, Arizona and Toronto, Ontario. He and his team of 18 Specialist Senior Associates provide expert guidance to property developers, investors and lenders for the revitalization of shopping centers, offices, multi-family rental apartments, hotels, seniors residences and leisure parks into robust mixed-use developments.
He sits on several Boards including The Real Estate Council Of Ontario, government regulator for 100,000 brokers and agents; Habitat For Humanity, Halton, Mississauga and Dufferin, provider of affordable housing to those in need; and several privately held property development companies, for which he serves as Chair.
