Our Approach
We at Forsyth Driving School will strive to do our best to teach each student all the basic skills of driving in the classroom and in the in-car phase. All our Instructors are licensed Drivers Education Instructors under the NC Department of Motor Vehicles. We have state of the art technology in our classroom as well as the most up-to-date vehicles. We offer the 30 hours of classroom instruction and the 6 hour behind the wheel training for students to obtain the NC Learner Permit.
We also offer Driving Instruction and Driver Improvement to students that have an NC Learner Permit or an NC Drivers License.
Fred Norman
Founder/Owner/Instructor
Fred founded Forsyth Driving School in 2012 after 35 years in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Public Schools, including teaching drivers education at West Forsyth starting in 2007.
He holds all all NCDMV Drivers Education Certifications and teaches Instructor Instruction at Wilkes Community College.
