ST. CHARLES — Westbound Interstate 70 was temporarily closed at Highway 94 in St. Charles County due to a crash that damaged a truck trailer, releasing several cows onto the highway.
Emergency crews responded, and were helped by some cowpokes to corral the stray animals. Cleanup crews were able to reopen the highway at around 1:30 a.m.
As of now, there is no information available regarding any injuries to the cows.
