Robert T. Glenn, MAI, AI-GRS

Robert (Bob) Glenn is the founder of the original corporation Robert Glenn Associates, Inc. from which Glenn Real Estate Group emerged and still remains part of the day to day operations. Robert achieved the MAI designation from the appraisal institute in 1975, the AI-GRS review designation when it became available in 2012, and has appraised properties of all types across the country for over 35 years. He has also developed several residential and commercial properties around Wilmington and is active in the community and within the Appraisal Institute. Robert has a passion for real estate investment and analysis, and thoroughly enjoys his work as both an appraiser, and developer. In his free time he enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with grandchildren.

Barron Glenn, MAI

Barron Glenn grew up in Wilmington and shares the family interest in real estate and has been working with real estate, particularly commercial appraisals, since 2002 after graduating high school and during his pursuit of a degree in economics at UNC Chapel Hill which he obtained in 2006. Barron became a certified general appraiser in 2010 and a designated member of the Appraisal Institute in 2014. He has worked with a sundry of commercial property types over his years in the field and is a partner at Glenn Real Estate Group. Outside the office, Barron is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys fishing, hunting, carpentry, surfing, photography, and most importantly spending time with family.

Daniel Glenn, MAI

Daniel C. Glenn, co-founder of Glenn Real Estate Group, has been involved in real estate valuation since 2004 working as partner in the original corporation, Robert Glenn Associates Inc. Daniel became a North Carolina certified general appraiser in 2012 and achieved the MAI designation in 2014 from the Appraisal Institute, which is generally regarded as the premier designation for commercial real estate appraisers nationwide.  He also works in other facets of real estate including office investment properties and manages commercial property owner associations containing over 80,000 square feet of office and flex space. Having been a resident of Wilmington for 30 years, he is versed in a wide variety of property types including various commercial property and rural woodland/timberland properties. Daniel’s long-term plan is currently to specialize in appraising rural/agricultural properties as well as conservation easement donations and easement encumbered properties. Aside from real estate, Daniel thoroughly enjoys family and the outdoors through both maritime and inland activities. He is also well traveled having spent significant amounts of time in South Africa, Italy, Hawaii, Costa Rica, Alaska, and Nova Scotia.

Mary Lacey Corbett

Mary Lacey Tate Corbett has been involved in real estate sales and timberland management for nearly two decades beginning with her father’s consulting forestry firm, Charles L. Tate, Jr. & Associates.  After his passing in 2011 she merged his firm with Gelbert, Fullbright & Randolph Forestry Consultants, PLLC.  Feeling a need to expand her career into other real estate sectors, Mary Lacey began working on her quest to obtain her Certified General Appraiser license in 2014 through the Appraisal Institute.  She is thrilled to have been associated with the Glenn Real Estate Group since March of 2016 as a North Carolina Trainee Real Estate Appraiser and work with a family firm similar to her own “roots”.  Mary Lacey aspires to obtain her full licensure and focus on rural agricultural, woodland, and timberland properties.  A native of Lake Waccamaw, Mary Lacey enjoys traveling, turkey hunting, boating, reading, and the labors of love associated with living on her family farm in Pender County with her husband.  Recently, she achieved an unofficial World Slam, one of the biggest feats in turkey hunting where a hunter must harvest the six subspecies found in the U.S., Mexico, and Central America.
