LR (LIGHT RIGID)

A LR (Light Rigid) Licence is the next class up from a car licence. You must have held a car licence for at least 12 months to be eligible.

MR (MEDIUM RIGID)

A MR (Medium Rigid) Licence covers any truck or bus with 2 axles. You must have held your car Licence or higher for at least 12 months.

HR (HEAVY RIGID)

A HR (Heavy Rigid) Licence is the highest class of truck licence you can obtain from holding a car licence. You must have held a car (open or p’s) or higher class of licence for at least 2 years to be eligible for HR (12 months for MR (Medium Rigid).

HC (HEAVY COMBINATION)

A HC (Heavy Combination) is a truck or prime mover towing 1 trailer. You must have held a MR or HR licence for at least 12 months to be eligible.

MC (MULTI COMBINATION)

A MC (Multi Combination) is a vehicle towing more than 1 trailer. You must have held a HR or HC licence for at least 12 months to be eligible.

BUS

Buses are covered under Heavy Vehicles or truck licences – there is no separate Bus Licence.

What if I lose my certificate?

You’ll be issued with a new certificate upon request. Fee included. Replacement copy must be collected by you or your guardian!

I never had an experience of driving; can I join the class too?

Yes, you can. Our lessons are for all individuals! You’re always welcome to try even if you’ve no prior experience. You’ll get your licence according to your abilities after passing the assessment test.

What if I missed the class?

No worries. This happens often! If you get occupied with something important in your life, we repeat the classes! You’re most welcome to join what you’ve missed earlier.
