Meet Patti

Hailing from Jacksonville, Florida, award-winning real estate professional Patricia “Patti” Doonan has lived in Houston since 1980 and is a trusted advisor and advocate for real estate buyers, sellers, and investors throughout Greater Houston.

 

In part because Patti’s parents owned a real estate company, this industry is second nature to her. “I grew up working in the office, painting rental houses, and learning how to renovate on a budget,” she says. After college, she went into banking before resolving to do what she knew best. She earned her real estate license and never looked back. Since then, she’s accumulated numerous awards, including a Lifetime Achievement award and the Five-star Realtor® Award.

 

Having attended college on a public speaking scholarship, Patti is at ease in any kind of meeting or negotiations. In fact, she has appeared on “Dr. Phil” as an expert to help teach negotiation skills. Patti’s financial background enables her to guide clients through the mortgage process, while her work ethic and decades of real estate experience make things happen for buyers, sellers, and investors in every imaginable situation — like serving as a FEMA disaster contractor specializing in working with homeowners to repair their real estate.

 

Away from work, Patti volunteers with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, which provides student scholarships, and at her church, St. John Vianney, where she holds a management position in the social ministry. Patti is a neighborhood representative for her community’s homeowners association. In her own time, she enjoys interior design, gardening, and traveling the world with her husband, Tom — or just enjoying Houston’s restaurants and cultural events.
