Başak Abacıgil Sözeri
Başak Abacıgil Sözeri embarked on her journey in the film industry in 1998 when she began her studies in the Radio TV Cinema department at Istanbul University. Since 1999, she has taken on various roles in numerous departments within the film sector. Throughout her production career, she has undertaken significant positions such as General Coordinator, Executive Producer, Creative Producer, and General Manager. During her time as a manager, she has been instrumental in the production design of 40 films and 20 distinct TV series projects, simultaneously serving as their executive producer.
In 2019, she established Idea Film to realize her vision and create original productions. In the same year, she took on the role of producer for the successful Netflix series “Fatma.” Currently, she continues her production endeavors with new projects.
Believing that collaborative efforts between production and creative writers/directors from the outset lead to the creation of exceptional projects with diverse perspectives, she has formed the Film Creatives team in harmony with accomplished and experienced talents in the film industry. Through hands-on collaboration with these individuals, she contributes by providing creative consultancy across all stages from idea conception to filming, fostering innovation.
Barış Abacıgil (Producer)
Barış Abacıgil has held managerial positions in production teams since 2010 and established his production company, Sanor Productions, in 2012. He has undertaken roles in executive production/administration for various national and international film productions. He also operates as a producer at Idea Film. Sanor Productions additionally offers international production and actor-technical crew management services.
