Outback Oz

Joy says “My works speak of ‘memories of places I have explored. When I return to the studio, I long for the outback, the freedom, the wide open spaces, the energies and colours that spoke to me, inspired me. They pour out of my soul and onto the paper or canvas with a spurt of energy that cannot be contained. I then sometimes bring in other details as I sit and regard the works, and remember that place…. It is a highly intuitive sort of process and is my way of ‘remembering Mother Earth.”

If you are interested contact one of the galleries mentioned on the contacts page or join Joy in her studio for a personalised viewing of her works. Joy is part of the Orange Art Trail and opens her space to collectors by appointment only.
