Carl and Mary Fouts are the owners of Little Italy Pizza in The Plains, Ohio. Little Italy Pizza is located at 10 South Plains Road and has been at this location since 1979. The first Little Italy Pizza was opened in the mid 60’s by Carl Fouts Sr. in Glouster but was sold in 1997. Carl’s father later opened Luigi’s Pizza in six locations around southeastern Ohio. Carl’s sister, Teresa, continues the family business and opened Ole Time Pizza in Glouster in April of 2010. Carl and Mary take great pride in using the freshest ingredients to make their homemade pizza sauce – daily, and buy most of their ingredients from local growers.

Subs are a big draw for us. We have customers that have moved out of the area come back to Little Italy Pizza just to take a sub home with them. Even though every item on our menu is popular, it’s the PIZZA that is our top seller. Everything at Little Italy Pizza is cooked in a brick lined stone hearth oven and ready for delivery, dine-in, or take-out within minutes.
