119 French | Bar & Bites

We came to this place to hear some live music by Jordan Foley & the Wheelhouse. We were meeting up with some friends and had never heard of this place. So glad we came out and got to enjoy the ambiance and great vibes of 119 French. Upon walking up to the patio it's so picturesque with pavers and market street lighting. The patio does have wheelchair accessible ramp to the wrap around porch that leads to the front door. The inside had a beautiful wooden bar and some seating as well as two well decorated and clean bathrooms.

They have a great selection of wine, beer, and nice small selection of food. I was tempted by the cheese and fruit, hummus and crackers, but I caved for the seasoned fries. The service was great, and the prices were good.

I think the only thing that would make this place better would be a few more none alcoholic drink options. I am pregnant and can't have a lot of caffeine or sugar, but otherwise we really enjoy our evening out here. Highly recommend for a nice evening out with your loved one or some friends. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Great place to enjoy live music... it's small but has a very homelike vibe out bartender was amazing with such a great personality.... the place is clean and awesome... definitely a hidden Gem in the area... I just discovered it and I will be coming back!! If your in town don't miss it!

Cute place with a Victorian feel - a great neighborhood bar. The bar is beautiful repurposed wood. Nice staff and a decent wine selection at great prices. This newly opened bar has tremendous potential! Wrap around porch and a patio area to die for. Local owners - let's help them succeed!

1st time here. Enjoying a lovely Cab with The Hubster while sitting in their nice side porch. Perfect evening to be sitting outside. A band will begin playing outside shortly on their outside patio. What a GREAT neighborhood bar.

I came here on a Friday night with some of my girlfriends. The ambience is nice and the place is clean. However, the service is mediocre. I asked for two menu items (one was bottled water) and they were out of both. The waitress chided my friend for not using up all the Mayo she had ordered! They also had a live singer/guitar player...not a fan of the live musician. He was slightly off-key on some songs and was over all not very good. Might be worth one more visit, but I don't particularly recommend this place.

At first glance you wouldn't think it's a bar. It's in a Victorian style house with a huge outdoor area and a cute indoor bar. The bartender, Destiny, told me they do live music often and open mic night on Tuesday nights. Great place to grab a drink and some snack food.

been meaning to check this place out since i moved here a bit ago. finally got the chance to and was not disappointed! such a cute little bar. very different environment from downtown which is super refreshing. and the bartender destiny is so sweet and down to earth. will have a hard time staying away! :)

119 French is a very cool, chill place to relax and drink. They have a great beer and wine list with alot of my favorite craft beers. Try the viking blood!

Love the vibe here! It's very cute. They have a wide variety of beer and it's served ice cold. The bartender Destiny was attentive and friendly! Will definitely be back.
